Build with AI

A new account can create one product and use a few AI requests before the email address is confirmed; the AI counter shows how many are left. Confirming your email starts the 14-day trial, and the requests already used count toward its 50 AI requests. Your task is kept through sign-up, so you don't fill in the form again. If you attached a file before signing up, this browser keeps it for 24 hours and uploads it after sign-up; on another device, in a private window or after 24 hours, attach it again. Larger files (over 5 MB, CSV over 1 MB) can be attached only after you confirm your email.

When the AI assistant is enabled for your company, choose Build with AI during setup. Describe one product, review the task, and prepare a draft. In Products, Create product → Create with AI (in the classic menu: Configurations → Create configuration) opens the same start page. Start a conversation and review each proposed change before applying it. To edit manually, open More actions (⋯) → Rules editor; it opens the manual editor described below.

After choosing an example

An example copies product rules, not your material catalog. If the price is unavailable, choose Add material prices in the result. Enter your base prices, check the billable units and currency, then choose Save prices and update result. If you cannot edit the catalog, ask your administrator. You can also change the draft to use existing materials. Check the result before making a customer quote; 3D finishes do not supply catalog prices.

Getting Started Options

• Choose a template — browse the Template Gallery and customize a ready-made product.
• Describe with AI — open AI assistant and describe your product. Review the proposed parameters, formulas, and specification before applying.
• Upload a file — import from a photo, PDF, spreadsheet, DOCX, or text file. Paramiq extracts text first, then AI builds a draft product.
• Start from scratch — create an empty product and build it step by step.

Step 1: Create a product

During setup, choose a starting example or build your own product. Examples help you explore the workflow; their dimensions and prices are not your production data.

In Products, choose Create product, then Choose a template or Start from scratch. Give it a name you will recognise. You can resume setup from Help without deleting your saved work.

Step 2: Add Parameters

Open Inspector, click Add, and choose Parameter. Enter the name, variable, type, and default. For this example, add $width and $height as numbers in millimetres. Open Behavior to set their minimum, maximum, and step. For a list, add its options and choose a default; for a yes/no setting, choose on / off. Existing parameters can be selected in Outline.

Step 3: Add Calculated Values

In Inspector, click Add and choose Calculated value. Name it Area, set its variable to $area, and enter $width * $height / 1000000. With millimetre inputs, the result is square metres.

Step 4: Build Specification

In Inspector, click Add and choose Material position. Choose a material from your catalog and enter its quantity formula. For example, ceil($width / 500) counts 500 mm panels. Check the catalog unit and price: a material sold by the metre needs a length-based quantity, not a panel count.

Step 5: Preview, Calculate & Share

In Live context, choose Instance Preview and change the inputs. Choose Bill of Materials to check quantities and prices. A 3D view appears only after you add geometry or models; adding a material alone does not create 3D. Check several sizes and resolve missing materials before making a customer quote. Then open Quotes → New quote; Help → How to shows the PDF and link steps. Export and sharing options depend on your permissions and plan.
