Introduction

Paramiq turns your product options and rules into a reusable configurator with pricing, a bill of materials (BOM), and 3D when geometry is configured. Start with a description, a source file, or a template. AI helps prepare a draft; you review the rules and prices before making customer quotes. You can also build or edit the rules manually.

Core Concepts

• Product — a parametric product model, e.g. a fence, a kitchen or a pergola (Configuration in the classic menu).
• Parameters — inputs like width, height, material type.
• Calculated values — named formula results derived from parameters (area, price, quantity).
• Specification — the bill of materials with quantities and prices.
• Quote — a product with specific sizes and options for one customer (Calculation in the classic menu).

Workflow

• Create a product: describe it to AI, start from a template, or build its parameters, calculated values and specification in the editor.
• Add your prices in Library → Materials & prices; product costs are calculated from them.
• Make a quote: pick the product in Quotes → New quote and set sizes and options.

Editor Layout

The editor has three working areas. Outline lists your parameters, calculated values, and specification items. Select an item to edit its settings in Inspector. Preview lets you test inputs, check the bill of materials (BOM), and inspect 3D. On a phone, use the Outline, Inspector, and Preview tabs to switch between these areas.

Templates

Paramiq includes a curated template gallery across categories like Fencing, Outdoor, Furniture, Structural, and Openings. Templates pre-fill parameters, calculated values, specification items, and 3D rules so you can start from a realistic draft instead of a blank editor.
