Choose your goal during setup, then learn by working with an example product. The suggested tasks match your role and permissions. You can pause and return to the next step from Help

First steps for new accounts

New accounts see First steps on Products: Create a product, Add your prices, Make a quote, Get a PDF or a customer link. An item is ticked when its result exists (a saved product, a material, a created quote, an export or a customer link); you do not tick it yourself. Hide collapses the list to one line, Show opens it again. Accounts with the classic menu keep their earlier checklist. Help → How to shows each task step by step.

Practice without changing saved data

Instance Preview can test Default, Small, Large, and Edge case scenarios. Scenario values are temporary: they update formulas, the estimate, BOM, and 3D together without overwriting authored parameter defaults.

On a phone, switch between Outline, Inspector, and Preview. Select an item in Outline, edit it in Inspector, and test the result in Preview. The 3D view is inside Preview. On a computer, these areas are arranged side by side. In the AI assistant, switch between the Product and Chat tabs instead.

Understand and correct the logic

• Logic explorer shows which formulas depend on a selected input and how they affect the material list or 3D.
• Open a diagnostic message to go to the field that needs attention.
• The preview walkthrough uses temporary values and an example issue. It does not change your saved product by itself.

What counts as progress

• First valid edit: make a real change to the product and save it successfully.
• First complete preview: resolve blocking issues and obtain a material list, plus a working 3D view when the product includes 3D rules.
• First quote or publish: a PDF, spreadsheet, share link, or public configurator was created successfully.

Continue learning from Help

From Help, resume setup, continue or restart the editor walkthrough, or open your practice product. Use Reset in the editor preview to restore temporary input values. Restarting learning does not delete products, formulas, materials, quotes, or customer data.
