Paramiq

How Paramiq works

A parametric product configurator that turns product logic into quotes, specifications, 3D scenes, public calculators, and client-ready documents.

Configuration is the foundation of the system. This is where the product logic is defined.

Configuration

Quick start from what you already have

Upload a spreadsheet, price list, product description, drawing, or photo. Paramiq helps turn it into a draft configuration that your team can review and refine.

  • Extract likely parameters, options, materials, quantities, and pricing hints.
  • Suggest formulas and an initial specification.
  • Keep every result editable, so engineers and estimators stay in control.
  • Start from files, templates, or a blank configuration.

Configuration

Parameters

Everything a user can choose in the configurator.

  • Numbers, lists, materials, and text values.
  • Dynamic minimum and maximum values can depend on other parameters.
  • Conditional visibility keeps the form clean.
  • Groups make complex products readable: dimensions, frame, hardware, finish.

Formulas and calculated values

A readable text syntax that connects parameters into one calculation.

  • Use named functions such as If, Round, Ceil, Min, Max, Case, plus arithmetic.
  • Reference parameters with $name.
  • Get highlighting, validation, and hints while writing.
  • Each saved calculation keeps the formula logic it was created with.

Configuration

Specification

Each line is connected to formulas. Change a parameter and the full specification updates.

  • Quantity, size, and price can be calculated from parameters.
  • Categories separate materials, work, hardware, and installation.
  • Conditional inclusion adds a line only when its condition is true.
  • Nested configurations allow complex products to be assembled from reusable parts.

Materials

Materials and catalogs

One source of material data and prices for every calculation.

  • Store materials with prices, units, and characteristics.
  • Import catalogs from spreadsheets or price lists.
  • Connect external inventory or accounting systems when needed.
  • Use groups and categories for faster search.
  • Price updates flow into every calculation that uses the material.

3D

3D visualization and scene editor

The visual model is driven by the same parameters as the calculation. It is a real scene workflow, not only a viewer.

  • Parameter-driven geometry, without a separate manual model for every variant.
  • Reusable model library organized by category.
  • PBR material library with color, roughness, metalness, and transparency.
  • Texture maps for diffuse, normal, reflection, and occlusion details.
  • Multiple products in one scene with a shared calculation.
  • Exact dimensions with snapping and alignment.
  • Client viewing by link or embedded calculator.

Calculations

Calculation workspace

Use ready configurations with your team for client quotes, history, statuses, and documents.

  • See all calculations with filters, statuses, and search.
  • Open a configuration, adjust parameters for a client, and get specification plus price.
  • Keep a history of changes and saved versions.
  • Use custom statuses that match the company's process.
  • Export documents for approval or production handoff.
  • Roles and permissions keep each user focused on the right work.

Client Output

Client-ready calculation

Send one configuration as a link, embed it on a website, or export it as a document.

  • Public link: the client sees the configuration, 3D preview, price, and lead form.
  • Website calculator: embed with one code snippet that works as both a calculator and a lead-capture form.
  • Document export: PDF or Excel for sending to a client or handing off to production.
  • Branding: logo, colors, and company details on client-facing materials.

AI Assistance

AI assistance at every step

AI helps with setup and editing, while your team stays in control of the final logic.

  • Import spreadsheets, price lists, drawings, and product notes into a draft configuration.
  • Describe a formula in words and get valid syntax back.
  • Generate a first configuration from a product description.
  • Suggest 3D scene rules from existing calculation logic.
  • Recognize useful information from scans and photos.
  • Get field-level suggestions without leaving the editor.
